BENTONORIT® CA1       Extruded Activated Carbon

BENTONORIT CA1 extruded activated carbon is a water dispersible granulated activated carbon product featuring a unique virtually dust free dosing form of NORIT® CA1. BENTONORIT CA1 extruded activated carbon is suitable for decolorization and purification of various aqueous solutions. BENTONORIT CA1 extruded activated carbon contains approx. 13 % calcium bentonite and is shaped as cylindrical 3 mm pallets which disperse as a powder in a few seconds in contact with most aqueous solutions. BENTONORIT CA1 extruded activated carbon is especially effective in adsorbing higher molecular weight organic matter such as large color bodies and proteins.

BENTONORIT CA1 extruded activated carbon meets the purity requirements of the monograph for Oenological Charcoal according to the latest version published by the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV), F-COEI-1-CHARBO.

BENTONORIT CA1 extruded activated carbon meets the requirements of the latest version of the U.S. Food Chemicals Codex and is produced under the scope of a quality management system which complies with the requirements of CDX HACCP.
